What happened to my categories?

  I converted categories to tags yesterday and lost all but one of my categories. Can I undo this and just go back to the way it was?? Where’d all my categories go???

  Hi there!

  As you found out converting categories to tags means your categories are removed and tags will be assigned to the posts that used to be in those categories. If you want to convert your tags back to categories, please check out converting tags to categories:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/tags/#converting-tags-to-categories

  Rather than selecting all your tags, you can go through and select only the tags you want to convert back to categories.
