What happened to my content ?

    Hi, We started our blog on the site mentioned above in March of 2015. We had quite a few entries for family & friends to follow my health journey. Apparently we missed renewing our domain name last year and didn’t realize it for sometime (it was a rough year). So, we renewed the same domain that we previously had. My question is, is there a way to recover all the content from the previous blog? Please tell me that nine years of content is not gone forever. Thank you for your help,

    We can’t help as your site wasn’t running on the wordpress.com platform. If you don’t have a backup, all content is lost forever.

    The Wayback Machine made some snapshots, so perhaps there are some pages and posts restorable – https://web.archive.org/web/20250000000000*/www.deananddena2015.com

    If you are able to contact your hosting provider where your blog was before, you can see if it is possible to restore the site. But as the site wasn’t hosted at WordPress.com, we wouldn’t be able to assist in this case.

    If you are able to restore your content and want to import it to your site hosted here, you can refer to our support docs on exporting from the host where the content was to your site here by importing the content.
