what happened to my Likes visibility?

  Hi, recently I am having a problem with the Likes feature. I am receiving Likes via email notification, but when I go to the post they are not being displayed there. I have checked my settings and all seems to be in order. Any suggestions? I would like these to be visible. My rating at the top reflects properly, just not the actual likes. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
