What happened to my old account?

Hi there. I tried logging into my account recently, and couldn’t remember my passwords or username, so I put in my email to request a new password, and they said I didn’t have any account.
I created new one, but that’s not what I want… I want my old account. How did this happen? How was my account cancelled without me knowing about it? And how is my website still up and running? Now, the only way I can edit my page is through my web hosting, and it says it’s under my original web devloper’s account. Please help! -

I just tried logging into my account with my email address and was told I did not have an account. I went to forum and tried to log in and it told me my email address was already taken; and if this was my address, click here.
So I did. I logged in just fine with my old password and it brought me to a create new blog, etc. screen. What happened to my blogs? -
Oh, and I can look up a blog on google and can still access it when I click on it, but there is no way to log in from there. It seems there used to be a way to log into my WordPress account from any of my blog pages.
