  MY PASSWORD HAS EVIDENTLY GOTTEN LOST AND FOLLOWING YOUR INSTRUCTIONS TO RETRIEVE IT DOESN’T WORK

  Just give me an answer,please. I do not need a forum.
  I have no idea what a “back tick” is.
  I have just signed up for the ability to read and answer and comment on my granddaughter’s blog.

  There are over 40 million blogging at WordPress.COM and I’m sorry but we cannot provide accurate answers to any blogger who fails to provide the exact URL starting with http:// for the exact blog they refer to so we can verify where it is hosted. Please do that now.

  I have no idea what you are talking about. No instructions came with this information. I just want to be able to have a connection with granddaughter. Now that I have a password –I hope –it should be OK – I hope.

  If you have lost your log-in information you can visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

  If you have already done that please check in your email client spam/ junk mail filter as well as your “social” tab in Gmail, if you use it. I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

  You cannot navigate to any blog and post a comment unless you know what the URL starting with http:// of that blog is. That is what I asked you for ie. the URL for your grandaughter’s blog.

  I’m really sorry to hear that you’re having trouble. Could you clarify the blog address (example.wordpress.com or something similar) that you’re trying to access? Also, could you let me know if you’re able to login to your account?
