Hi,
Your site graceministriesumc.org shows that it is hosted with Tucows.

This forum is for sites hosted with WordPress
.comI would suggest contacting Tucows support.

If they are unable to help please use WordPress.org support.

Hi Debbie,
graceministriesumcblog.wordpress.com has not disappeared. But it’s mapped to the domain, graceministriesumc.org, and that domain is not currently pointed to us, so it’s not loading the site.
To access graceministriesumcblog.wordpress.com at the free address, you’ll first need to set that as the primary address on the site. You’ll need to be logged in as the WordPress.com account that owns the site to do that, which is a different account than the one you’re using to post here.
As for graceministriesumc.org, that domain is registered with Tucowsdomains, and currently pointing to https://sedo.com/us/. Sedo is a domain marketplace, which makes me think that domain might have expired earlier this year, and that it’s now in the control of a domain squatter. You’ll need to contact Tucows, or whatever provider you’d originally used to register that domain, directly for help with getting that domain back, though.
The domain has never been registered with us, and was only mapped here, so we have no control over the domain itself.
Let me know if you have any questions.
@ryrhino00, the OP clearly indicated they needed help with a WordPress.com site. Why are you sending them to the WordPress.org forums?Additionally, Tucows is not a hosting provider. They’re a domain registrar only, and Whois also indicates them as such. To see who is hosting a domain you need to look at the IP address and name servers on the domain, not the registrar field in Whois.

Hi @ryrhino00,
In the link you shared with the OP, you can see both the nameservers and the IP addresses for the domain:
https://gwhois.org/graceministriesumc.org+dns
Notice the table on the right? You can even click on the IP to look up what provider that IP is connected to.
I hope that helps :)

Hi,
staff-mckluskey I do see the IP address on the gwhois link.
IP to look up what provider that IP is connected to.
Where do I find the provider name? I see many words and numbers as links when I click on the IP address which of those is the IP provider?
Thanks.

Thanks so much for your help, Kokkieh.
I have relayed this information to the site owner and let them know what their options are.
I will let you know if I have any more questions.
Cheers-
Debbie
