What happened to my theme?

  I paid for a theme and expected to have the structure of the theme in tact where I could simply edit and adjust to my liking. Instead, it was blank. Very disappointing. I can’t even figure out how to build it like the demo I saw. Was this some kind of glitch? Or do you really take away the structure of the theme after the purchase? Please help! I want the theme I bought as it looked in the demo!
