What happened to my widgets?

  Somehow, my widgets got scrambled and/or deleted. Has this happened to anyone else?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It looks like all of my widgets were deactivated. Why and by whom?

  Hello there,

  The widget interface has seen changes recently within the last few weeks so that it uses blocks, much like the editor.

  I can see the theme in use: https://wordpress.com/theme/fjords/ is retired and no longer updated, so it’s possible that this happened with this widget update and the theme hasn’t not been updated subsequently.

  To reassure you, the widgets aren’t deleted, but reside in an inactive widget section and can be used.

  You may wish to consider a theme that is more up to date.
