What happened to the “Giving Thanks” video contest?

  I was wondering if the winners will still be announced for the Thanksgiving ’09 “Giving Thanks” video contest that WordPress was running. Over two weeks ago, this was posted on the side column of the News page: “Time’s up for the ‘giving thanks’ video contest! Thanks for your submissions. The winner will be announced in the coming week.” And last week, a person commenting about this same question was told that winners would be notified by e-mail in the upcoming days. It’s now the end of the week AFTER all this though, so I can’t help wondering what has happened to this contest…

  I hope I don’t sound too impatient by asking about it, but I am very curious if the winners will still be announced or not!

  All I says is that winners will be contacted by email.

  There could be a blog post announcing the winners but I am highly unsure about it.
