What happened to the in-post photo editor?

  I used to be able to insert a photo into a post and then when I hovered over it, be able to click onto a photo editor where I could resize.

  Now, when I insert a photo it posts in the HTML code. So now I can’t figure out how to resize an image. I have gone into the media gallery and scaled my photo to the size I needed. Yet, when I go to put it back in the post, my photos are still coming out small.

  Is there a way to reset wordpress so that we can access the old photo editor?

  Same problem for me, even worse though. Firstly, I can’t change size via the “easy” original method (can use the more complex method but that doesn’t actually work) + the now my images no longer display at all on the live site? Help.
