What happened to the Meta Widget?
-
I was creating a new site, and realized that I couldn’t log into it without a link in the Meta widget. Unfortunately, it seems to no longer exist. I’m using the EDIN theme. Is it absent just in the theme, or is it moved to another location? It’s important.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The Meta Widget is no longer available.
I do believe that the theme Twenty Ten has the Meta Widget as default, but if you activate other widgets, it will disappear. That is the only theme that I know of that has it as default, but there could be another.
You can create a text widget with a link to wp-admin.

Hi there, the Meta widget went away sometime in February or March, I believe. The Login/Logout link in the widget was dynamic, which we can’t replicate, but you can still log in and out via your site’s own dashboard link, as @mariahpierson mentioned.

https://nowistime2change2012.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=logout”
If you want to wrap that up in a text widget you could use:
<a href="https://nowistime2change2012.wordpress.com/wp-login.php">Log in</a>
<a href="https://nowistime2change2012.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=logout">Log out</a>Let us know how that goes.

The text widgets will be perfect. This was for another site, not the Immediate Change site, which already has it. Nevertheless, I really appreciate your help on this.
Have a blessed day!
