What happened to the Word Counter?

  The WordPress editor used to have a word counter in it. Why has it disappeared?

  Hi there, the word count is still there, but it has changed location.

  If you open the “List view” in the editor, and then go to the “Outline” tab, the word count can be found at the bottom of the “Outline” tab.

  This is a very recent change so our document hasn’t been able to catch up just yet, but this shows you where to find the List view so you can locate the word count under “Outline”:
