For about fourteen years I’ve operated a website hosted on “networksolutions.com”. I built and operate the site with “Microsoft Front Page” (which btw Microsoft has discontinued supporting for some time). My intent is to move this site to WordPress servers and then build a revamped website with WordPress AND hosted at WordPress.
To that end I recently went to networksolutions.com and changed the name servers from:
ns1.networksolutions.com
ns2.networksolutions.com
to:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.comThen after a couple of days http://www.yoga-with-shamsher.com went off-line, unfortunately leaving a number of students without easy access to class scheduling information. So…today I went back to networksolutions.com and changed the name servers back to where they were originally, ie…to:
ns1.networksolutions.com
ns2.networksolutions.comImmediately http://www.yoga-with-shamsher.com came back online.
So please advise me what I did wrong and what I need to do to have:
– http://www.yoga-with-shamsher.com (?self-hosted?) at WordPress.
– Then eventually (as in soon) change out the old Front Page html stuff with a WordPress created and hosted website for http://www.yoga-with-shamsher.com.Oh, fyi, I already have started work here: http://yogawithshamsher.wordpress.com/home/…on the website I wish to soon publish at WordPress ?overwriting? http://www.yoga-with-shamsher.com. If at all possible maintaining this exact well web- populated domain name

If you don’t buy domain mapping nothing much happens other than your site crashes
