What happens if I stop paying monthly for my upgrade?

So, I’m planning on buying the upgrade for $2.99 a month to increase my media GB to 6. It charges monthly so I’m worried what if I stop paying? Will it delete all my media until it reaches back to normal 3 GB? Or will it stay and I just can’t post anymore picture?

Though the plans are priced monthly, they’re actually billed yearly! So when you upgrade to the personal plan you’ll be charged one lump sum and not have to worry at all about monthly payments.
If you do happen to run out of media storage you will be unable to upload new pictures, but the good news there is that 6GB (and even 3GB!) is an awful lot of space! And, I have even more good news for you! If even with proper optimization you do run out of media storage you can upload pictures to other services such as Google +, Tumblr and Flikr and then embed them into your WordPress site without using your media storage.
