What happens if I switch themes? sorry, n00b q

  I am using Light and I got tired of it and would like to switch. What happens to all my content etc? Is the port seamless or should I expect some messiness?

  Switching is fine. The only issue would be if you changed to a theme that didn’t use widget when you are currently using them but that was more of an issue when they first introduced them. Most themes now have the widget support.

  you might experience some layout problems especially with text widgets depending on the theme used – sometimes the words overrun the border of the theme, niggly things like that that makes your blog looks cluttered and ugly. content wise it’s perfectly safe.

  Also, if for formatting reasons it totally screws things up, you can switch back in two clicks. Has saved my butt more than once. I tend to set graphics at the maximum allowable, then want to switch to themes with narrower columns. NOT GOOD.
