What happens if I want to change my domain name again?

What happens if I change my domain name now I have already changed it once? Will it automatically redirect from the current domain to the new one? Will it be an extra charge? I just bought one but I am thinking of changing it.

Hello there!
Once you’ve registered a domain name, it is “permanent” and cannot be edited. This is not a WordPress.com rule, but just the way custom domains operate on the internet. If you want to register a brand new custom domain name to replace the old one, you will indeed have to purchase it again. You can do this at the Store link in your Dashboard, or by clicking below and selecting, “Add a Domain.” :
https://happyhealthyholyhome.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.phpIf you decide to create a new domain name, you can either keep the old domain name, but simply have it mapped to the new primary domain. There is no extra charge for this. You can also cancel the domain name. Either way, your visitors will all be taken to the new domain name.
Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks much!
