What happens to blog if move to .org?

  I’m thinking of moving to WordPress.org. I have a domain name I purchased on wordpress.com, and I know I will need to re-route that, but then what happens to my wordpress.com blog?

  Will it still be up and running as before, only with the original/free URL I set it up with? Or will it no longer work?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
