What happens to links and URL when moving a blog?

    Hello,
    I want to migrate my current blog to another wordpress blog.
    I have it set up and I’ve exported the content.

    But what happens to internal links? Do they automatically get updated?
    Related to that, what about people who have visited and bookmarked or else all the spots
    out there where I’ve posted links to the blog that currently have the old blog in the URL?
    Do they automatically get updated to the new blog’s URLs or do they get redirected?

    If you map a domain to your blog, the old URLs will be automatically redirected, but if you’re actually moving everything to another address, you’ll need a Site Redirect upgrade: http://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/
