What happens to my CSS changes if I upgrade to a premium theme?

  I currently use a free theme (Manifest) and have modified its CSS using the Custom Design upgrade. If I decide to purchase a premium theme for my blog, will I lose those modifications once the original Custom Design upgrade expires, or will my modifications become a permanent part of my new premium theme?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If you change themes, whether you change them to a premium theme or not, your changes get wiped out. CSS is theme-specific.

  CSS is still saved when a Custom Design upgrade is expired, but they are not visible on the front end. To make them visible again, you would need to renew the upgrade.

  Raincoaster’s reply is correct, the CSS made for one theme won’t work for another, so you would need to write new CSS rules for your new theme if you switch themes.
