What happens to my domain name when I cancle the bundle it was with?

  I purchased the bundle in hopes to install a theme I bought. I realized I could not do that with the bundle. I canceled the bundle for a refund. I need that domain name that came free with the bundle, will I be able to register it with bluhost. Do I need to go to Wild West and cancel my domain or will it automatically terminate itself so I can registrar it some where else? Right now bluhost is telling me that the wordpress hosting even if it is canceled the domain name is separate even though I got it in a bundle? I did this all in the past 3 hours so it hasn’t been a long period of time.

  If you cancel a domain within 48 hours of buying it, it will be sent back to the registrar. It’s up to them to decide when to re-release it, but it’s usually available again within a few days.
