What happens to my WordPress Business Blog if I don't renew the subscription?

    What happens if I don’t renew my WordPress Business Blog? I am hoping it just transfers to a free blog, as we want to keep it but it’s not going to be too active, so we don’t need many of the business features. Please advise.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Howdy,

    Your blog will switch over to “Free” relatively gracefully. The following will happen:

    • Any free domain you have as part of the package will expire (you’re not using one, so no issue here).
    • The extra 10 GB storage won’t be accessible (you’re not using that, so no issue there either)
    • Any custom design elements (fonts, colors, custom CSS, etc) will simply stop working and your site will look like the original theme. You are using some of these, so there will be some change there.
    • We display a limited number of advertisements for our free sites. We keep it classy, so typically only an ad after a post or page’s content. No crazy pop-up ads or mind-numbing flashy things.
    • Lastly, you’ll lose your ability to upload video or audio to your site. Anything previously uploaded will continue to work.
