what happens to the site from which the content is exported

    Does the content get deleted from the site from which the content is exported.

    Hi there,

    Exporting content does not delete content from the site, no. And in fact, I wouldn’t recommend deleting anything from the old site until you’ve imported the content to the new site.

    Specifically, media files should ONLY be deleted once you’ve made sure everything has been moved over to the new site, as the export file doesn’t contain the images themselves, but only links to where they are hosted in the library of the old site. Images are transferred over only after the initial import completes.
