What happens when I close out my account?

  I recently just closed down my account, I noticed I was still being charged $10 for a antispam add on I purchased.
  I deleted my payment method, my question is, when I close out my account I wont be charged the $10 dollars anymore correct?

  I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

  Hello,
  I have closed down my website sincerelysydneynicole.com with Bluehost and I and making the final closing with WordPress, before I do so I wanted to check on something.
  I had noticed I was still being charged for $10 through something called Akismet (I believe it was a antispam add on I purchased.)
  I just deleted my payment method but I wanted to make sure that when I close my account, that my payment method will be deleted and I will not longer be charged the $10 monthly.

  That is correct. You would be unable to close your account without canceling your Akismet or any other upgrades connected to your account. So, once your account is closed, you can be assured that you will not receive any further charges.
