What happens when I delete my WordPress account?

I’d like to connect my active WordPress account to a new Gmail. The problem is that the Gmail I want to connect it to is already in use with another WordPress account (which I no longer need). My question now is, is there any ramification for connecting a new WordPress account to a Gmail that is associated with a deleted WordPress account?

Hi there,
When you delete your account, your email address remains in the system for 30 days. Each account must have a unique email connected to it, so you wouldn’t be able to use your new Gmail for the active WordPress account.

Please note that deleting an account deletes all the sites on that account and all their contents. After a few weeks, this data will be entirely purged from WordPress.com servers and the process cannot be reversed.
