What happens when my annual subscription is finished?

In wordpress.com, Let’s say I made a website and paid for it (Annual) so I can use it. I was wondering if I unsubscribe the plans, does it mean I won’t able to use my website anymore? or it just removes all the features they provide on the plan?.. I am afraid that if I stop paying for the plan, it will take my website away.

Your site will revert to the free plan, and you’ll lose access to any features that were provided by the paid plan.
