What happens with existing website during migration

  Hi!

  I need to migrate a Shopify site over to WordPress+Woocommerce.

  My question is, once I upgrade my WordPress account (which would move hosting of my existing URL, out of Shopify and into WordPress) what happens to my current/live site for ? If the migration process is done through Cart2Cart (or another platform) I understand the store elements, orders, catalog, etc. are all migrated pretty instantaneously…but what happens with all my other pages, their styling, and the custom functionality I have currently setup?
  Do I have to re-style and set up all the pages right there and then when I upgrade to make sure the site still functions for visitors? Just covering my bases before I upgrade.

  Website is blackstitchlabel.com. URL will remain the same, just changing over to WordPress for the CMS and hosting.

  Are you reading any documentation where you’re seeing this is the case please?

  The reason why I ask is because Shopify is a different platform, and the content would migrated.

  Outside of that, the design and structure of the site would need a rebuild from the ground up more or less.
