What has happened to the wordpress site

I tried loading the indicated URL but I’m receiving an Error 404 – Not Found.

Edit: My dashboard appears when loading the URL, but then diappears when returning to my blog, though being logged in.

Very strange. If you CAN get your dashboard back, send a feedback right away. If you can’t, then email support at support at wordpress dot com, and be sure and tell them which blog you’re talking about, the specific URL.

I can enter the dashboard if I go to wordpress main page and click on my name there but I cant access it from my blog because I dont have the blue bar at the top. Thanks to those people helping xx

It’s strange that adding /wp-admin to the normal URL doesn’t work. I’m still getting the blue bar vanishing on me, but when I force that URL it always takes me to my dashboard. Support is up and around, so hopefully they’re on this if you have sent in your feedbacks.

I also got a weird error with an uploaded image file, but that might be nothing to do with this.

When I do the wp admin it does work but the blue bar never stays. I am sure it will get sorted.

Keep one window open always on the dashboard. That way you can always start from back there again.

Raincoaster thanks for pointing out /wp-admin url trick, at least I know how get to my dashboard.
But as with others the blue bar is just a grey field.
I too, am sure it’ll get sorted.

I´ve tried to help a swedish blogger with this daschboard problem, missing stuffs ie. in Mistylook , before I found this topic.

What happend to me, when I logged in to my account with a different theme, was that I got a secure message said something like
You have tried to connect to a server a.wordpress.com but the certificate belongs to wordpress.com Someone my try to lissen to you or mess with you.
Inform the adminstrator

Don´t know if this has something to do with the problems, though I could log in

abookinthelife – what url are you looking at? What browser are you using? Try a hard refresh with shift-reload, or close/open your browser. The old bar may still be cached.

I am using IE. I have gone into Intenet Options and cleared everything from there, shut down all my windows etc. Ho hum! What is a hard refresh with shift-reload!?

In IE that’d be ctrl-reload, at least according to Google it is anyway.
