What have you people done to the colors on my blog??

As of sometime today, my blog has become absolutely putrid looking in both Chrome, Firefox and IE.
I use the Dark Wood theme and, instead of the dark brown it has always been, it now looks putrid green. The three brown tones in the calendar are the correct colors.
Please correct this ASAP!!

Okay, apparently something happened on WP’s end and they changed the look of my blog’s Dark Wood theme.
I have at least gotten rid of that putrid green by changing the colors, but I want the original Dark Wood theme back, where it looks like “wood grain”.
So how do I go about that when there is no “wood grain” looking color? I’ve tried to reactivate the theme, but that doesn’t work.
I can’t believe WP screwed this up.

Have you checked your monitor settings? Your blog is not green. There is green TEXT, is that what you’re talking about?

No, the background color used to be wood grain, but today it suddenly turned putrid green.
I used “customize theme” to change the putrid green color to a real dark brown, so it looks better, but I want to get that wood grain look back.
Can’t figure out how to do that. I tried to re-Activate the theme but that didn’t work. This is the way it’s supposed to look, and has looked, since day one, up until today.

Maybe I should change to a different theme and then change back? Would that screw anything up as far as the look and feel of the blog?

I just tried Dark Wood on my test blog and it was brown with wood grain
not sure on what you might have done – did you make a Post or change a Widget?
You can change Themes – then change back – worst case is you need to retrieve some Widgets from the inactive Widgets area at the bottom of the Widgets page – if you had your own header image might need to upload it again

No, I didn’t do anything today other than log in. This morning it looked fine. When I pulled it up this afternoon to post those two blog entries, it was all screwed up.
You would think there would be a “Restore Default” for that theme, but I can’t seem to find it. I’ll probably have to change themes and then change back to Dark Wood.

There should be some sort of go back or get rid of new color – sorry themes are not my best thing
WP does many bogus things – but this one is beyond me – and if it was an all Dark Wood theme things the forum should be full of upset people

It may have been some fluke with my blog because it doesn’t look like it happened to anyone else. I am in there right now looking for a “Restore Default” but don’t see it anywhere. There is a Default Color, but it just goes to another solid color.
I think I will look for am image of wood grain that I can live with and then upload it as a background image. Failing that, I will just try to theme switch back and forth and keep my fingers crossed!!
