What I see in the editor view is different to the actual publication

Hi there!
Have you created those posts using the Classic or Block Editor? If you created them with the Classic Editor, try to convert them to blocks and use the Media&Text Block: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/media-text-block/
If you rather receive help in Spanish, please post to the forums in that language:

Hi! Thank you for your answer! I created them using the classic editor. But I have more than 200 posts! To convert each would be a nightmare =(. I don’t understand what happened. It is like a random thing… there were fine, and there are some that still look ok… Any other idea?
I have been thinking to move my blog to .org. They have told me it is better… Maybe it is time. Do you know if the exporting may solve this problem?
Thank you very much!
Abrazos!

Hi Adolfo,
The switch of WordPress.com to the block editor cannot cause any post already published on your site to change, because it doesn’t make any changes to the HTML code for those posts.
The only thing that can cause this is a change to your theme, and it looks like the Romero theme you’re using has had some recent updates.
I’ve reported this to our themes team to investigate. I’ll let you know as soon as I have more information on this.

This is not caused by the version of WordPress you’re using, and the block editor we have on WordPress.com comes from WordPress.org, so that will be exactly the same. You also won’t be able to use the Romero theme you bought from us, on a self-hosted WordPress site, as the version of that theme you bought can only be used here on WordPress.com.
So this particular issue won’t be solved by moving your site.

Hi, my WordPress experts friend. Kokkieh do you happen to have any news? All my post with children books reviews are still a mess.
I received an email from the Billing support team saying that they could help me solve this problem via CSS code but to do so I had to upgrade my account to a Premium plan. I honestly was surprised by this answer. If I understand correctly it is a WordPress programming problem, but I must pay for the solution?
Anyway, looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Thank you,
Adolfo

Hmm, thanks for letting us know. I did notice there’s a bug report for your theme to have this fixed. We’ll check and see if there’s a good way to address this in the interim.

Woohoo! I’m glad that took care of it. It does look like your theme is going through some updates, so if you run into weird little bugs like that, let us know.
