What if Akismet spam is blocked off?

    What is comment spam. If not blocked what will happen …?

    If comment spam is not turned off soon your blog will be ALL SPAM – and search engines seem to down grade sites with lots of spam.

    Comment Spam is junk spam that is commented to a Post or Page, they hope you will approve it and then someone will click on the junk link and go to their bad site.

    Akismet is your friend – I also have a .ORG site that gets around 80 comment spams a day, and they all get put in the corner and one click sends them away.
