What if I don’t want a widget to appear on every page?

The title says it all…
I’ve been working on a few test sites, and enjoy the widgets feature, BUT what if I don’t want a particular widget to appear on every page of a site?
Does anyone have any input?
Thanks!

Specifically, what I’m trying to do is to only show the Platial MapKit on a single page on http://wx5plush.wordpress.com/. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

The themes are hardcoded and we cannot edit them. Apparently DayDream shows the widgets on all pages so I’m afraid unless you change themes that’s the way it will be.

I think Platial is working on a way to put their widget in a page or post rather than just in the widget. Right now, my understanding is that it doesn’t work, but you can try. Sometimes they tweak things without telling us.

Thanks for the replies! I’ll snoop around Platial’s site a bit more, too. The really funny thing is I just took a look at my site, and the widget completely disappeared and got replaced with the standard bottom bar. Yikes! :) I guess no one wants a map of Austin’s gay bars? LOL!

I just looked at your site and the widget was gone, gone, gone. In recent days disappearing widgets have become a thing that need to be reported to staff by way of feedback.
