What if I don’t want to crop my avatar image?

    Is there some reason that WordPress only wants us to use part of an image for our avatar? Or could the theme I’m using or something else be prohibiting me from using the entire image?

    I keep reducing the size of my image but the max size of the crop box also reduces. Is there something else I should be doing? Or is this just the way it is?

    I figured it out. Thank you. Images need to be square.
