What information is needed for Akismet bug?

What information will assist the support team in fixing this bug? Do they need screen shots or what? According to the stickied comment above they can’t recreate it? Would access to a Dashboard that is having the problem assist them in troubleshooting this?

The following is said with respect.
IMHO staff are coping with so many problems now that advising bloggers to send in support tickets may not be a wise thing to do. Although the thread has been closed I assure you that staff do know there are ongoing Akismet bug problems.
They know what the problems are. They are working as hard as they can to find solutions. Surely each of us do not need to send in tickets and get pacification emails when staff could better spend their time finding solutions and applying them.
Also the likelihood that staff will discuss in ins outs and requirements of Akismet on this forum where spammers and sploggers lurk is very low to non existent, for obvious reasons.
