What is a comment subscription?

  What is a comment subscription?
  Do people subscribe only to that post or is it them clicking “follow this blog” but on a certain post? I have a fair few comment subscriptions and was wondering if that meant that people were tracking that individual post or if they were actually reading the new stuff I put out everyday. Help on this would be appreciated!

  If it’s comment subscription, they are subscribed to new comments on an individual post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/comment-subscriptions/

  You can also encourage people to sign up to receive an email subscription by adding that option in Settings -> Discussion http://en.support.wordpress.com/blog-subscriptions/ or by using the Blog Subscription widget.
