What is a 'selector' and how do i add it to my typekit?

  I have a typekit account, and have added the font I would like to use on my blog.

  Now, apparently I need to add the ‘selector’ but I don’t know what this is… I would like to use the font for the headings and the body text.

  Please could someone advise?

  I haven sorted the link to domain name ( I think ) but would really appreciate some help with the typekit issue!! Thanks!

  Howdy,

  You can see an explanation selector on our CSS Basics support page. For example, h1 is a selector for headings.

  You can also customize the fonts with the Standard setting in Appearance -> Custom Design -> Fonts.

  yes I would like to add the font in advanced mode, which means I need the selector for headings and body text…

  also, how do i delete this thread, (as you can probably tell it’s a private blog so i’d rather that everyone couldn’t see it!)

  I need the selector for headings and body text.

  In Safari, you can go to Develop -> Show Web Inspector to highlight and display the selectors for the headers and body fonts you’d like to update.

  I’ve annotated a screenshot of how it’ll look for your reference (Safari 6):

  Your blog is currently public, so if you need to make it private, you can go to Settings -> Privacy in your dashboard to update that setting.
