what is a widget??

  There is lots of writing about this or that widget but What the F is a widget??? Why would I want a widget???

  Widget is a fancy word for tools or content that you can add, arrange, and remove from the sidebar(s) of your blog. Widgets make it easy to customize the content of your sidebar(s).

  To me the key is the sidebar and what I might want to use it for on my blog. Have some text you want to add over on the right, use a text widget. Want a list of other websites like a blog roll, use a widget. Check out the support document on widgets..

  Thanks for your reply houstonweaver. The side of my blog has no bars. The only bar looking thing is under the theme photo at the top which shows the main and intro pages. Too much nonsense here. I’ll delete the blog.

  DO NOT DELETE THE BLOG.

  That’s the number one mistake people make. Just change themes or something.
