I am having trouble with redirecting my email.I have already mapped my domain………and now my custom email doesn’t work anymore. I need to find out my “A” record and IP address…..someone suggested this website http://www.whatsmydns.com/dnscheck.php but it has given me a lot of result
Any idea? -
The link I posted above, when you click it, shows you your IP address. This link may also be helpful: http://www.networksolutions.com/support/a-records-ip-addresses-2/

Your email provider is the one that needs to provide you with the DNS record information to make your email start working – that information is then entered here.

but unfortunately I have already mapped my domain without changing the DNS
If you didn’t change the nameservers for the domain when mapping it then can you explain how you redirected the domain name?
Those MX records you entered are also incomplete. From what you posted a few replies above they should be this:
MX 10 mx0.123-reg.co.uk.
MX 20 mx1.123-reg.co.uk.Those will take up to 48 hours to update but that is the proper MX entries. Your domain may also need a CNAME or A record entered here in order to work properly. Your email provider would be able to provide this.

Thank you for your help!!!!
I have tried to contact my provider but they say that are unable to give me the CNAME or the A record and they are saying that wordpress should give me the IP address of my website……..what do you reckon?
Until now my only problem is the email everything else works fine.
Do you think it would be enough just change the MX?Again THANK YOU SO MUCH
