What is an ENHANCED FEED?

  I am trying to fine-tune my settings and want to change from showing 10 posts on a page to showing much more, like 50, to avoid having to go to the Archives.

  In the Settings instructions it says this:

  For each article in an ENHANCED FEED show
  Categories
  Tags
  Comment count

  Add to Stumbleupon
  Add to Del.icio.us
  Add to Digg.com
  Add to Reddit

  QUESTION: What is an ENHANCED FEED? Actually I am not at all clear on what those feeds are, except that I clicked onto something once and now have all the comments showing up in my Bookmarks. :-)

  No idea. Staff changed something and didn’t tell us.

  And PLEASE do not change your settings to show 50 posts at a time. For one thing: it’ll give you fewer hits, because people won’t ever have to hit Next Page. For another, it’ll take so long to load people will get pissed off at you.

  My advice: Keep the number of posts per page below 20. I just changed from something like 20 to 10 on Mark’s advice. And for that enhanced feed thing, you want to show ALL of those options.

  Wow– thanks for the heads up! I will go back now and lower all of my numbers. I didn’t realize that it had such consequences as making the page take longer to load.
