What is an Open I.D.?

  I was trying to comment on a blog hosted by blogspot. It asked me to identify and gave me a dropdown box. I chose WordPress (www.forphilip.wordpress.com) and I got a message saying, “Open I.D. Could not be verified” and it would let me post. Do you know anything about that?

  Howdy!

  It’s possible the “www” in your URL was throwing it off. Try just “forphilip.wordpress.com” next time and see if that helps.

  Or navigate to Settings -> OpenID in your Dashboard to find your OpenID URL and any approved sites.
