what is custom domain ? i dont get this term properly?

    Is custom domain neccecary for blogging ?

    Hi,
    Custom domains are not necessary or mandatory for blogging. It is better if you have one.

    Custom domain is an address to your blog ” amo29.wordpress.com.” but with out the WordPress.com part. It could be any name of your choice. Eg:- BeautyofNature.com or BeautyofNature.net etc.
    If you have a custom domain, your viewers will see that address instead of amo29.wordpress.com, which will distinguish your site from all the other free sites.
