what is difference between pages and menu

  I thought they are the same. Lets say i created 2 pages one is called “home” and one is called “contact us” so i have 2 pages and my menu will look like (home, contact us). Now I see under appearance there is menu ?? what is this for?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Appearance > Menu is for custom menu’s, so if you create a page called “Home” and a page called “Contact Us” but you only want “Contact Us” to show, you could achieve that via the Menu option via Appearance.
