  When you purchase the premium plan and want to keep your existing domain name, do you have to continue paying for the original domain name as well as wordpress?

  Hi @wholisticpsychology, at some point we may able to accept registration transfers, though that is not possible yet. So for now you would need to pay for the domain through its existing registrar, though you would not need separate hosting.
