What is keeping my images from being uploaded in the library?
-
I can’t upload an image to my library. I cleared the cache. Tried another computer. When I browse and select a file, then click upload….not much happens. A message in the lower left corner suggests it is being sent to the library, but then …. nothing happens.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What kind of file is it? What is the name of the file? Can you upload other files? How much space do you have in your media library?

Hi!
It’s a .jpg file. I tried loading several of the same kind of file. None of them loaded.
The name of one of the files is “2014_Jan_01 American Robin Bathes In Snowstorm 1.jpg”. I have been loading the same kind of .jpg files since I started my blog. I have them all in my files here on my desktop.
No, can’t upload anything. Tried several. They are all .jpg. That’s all I’ve ever uploaded without problems before.
195.4 MB used, 2.8 GB (93.6%) upload space remaining
I just went into the Media tab to get the amount of space remaining and saw something I had not seen previously…I see the files already in my blog’s Library look as though they are .JPG. But the files I have from which I uploaded them are .jpg.
So …. maybe that’s the issue? The file type? How could that have changed? The images in the Library are showing on their respective posts just fine.
I know enough about the difference between .jpg and .JPG files to make me dangerous to myself.
Thanks for your thoughts!

I have several images with exactly that configuration already successfully loaded in the library from nearly a year ago.
I did try by totally eliminating the date at the beginning of the file name. Waited 3 minutes while a message said sending to (blog name) …. no change. Nothing happens.

Anyone? I tried what was suggested last. It has not made any difference. I cannot upload images to the library? Is any help available? Thanks.
