What is mapping domain?

  Dear all

  Please pardon me for this. I have read a couple of threads regarding the above, however I can’t seem to understand the logic.

  My question is;

  I have bought a domain name, and created my wordpress account.
  By mapping my domain name, does it means that my domain will become http://www.propertymysg.com?

  Sort of – no www in WordPress.COM addresses – you just change the name visitors see – same Terms of Service and you will still post into your Dashboard at propertymysg.wordpress.com. – but visitors will see the Mapped Domain in their Browser address
