What is moderate to high traffic regarding Adsense?

  I’ve recently doubled my total views in less than a month, and I’m considering signing up for a domain name at wordpress in the near future so that I can use adsense to make a little extra money on the side. However, it says that Adsense is for blogs with moderate to high traffic. Could anybody give you a good benchmark for each? How many views should I be looking for before I consider doing something like that?

  Whatever you’ve read about adsense only applies to self-hosted sites. Even if you purchase a domain name with mapping through WordPress.com, you will not be able to run adsense on your WordPress.com site.

  The only advertising program that is allowed on WordPress.com is WordAds.
