What Is My Blog Post Url

  I’m trying to register my blog with Word, so I can blog directly from Word. Word says it cannot register my blog post, and I think it’s because I am not furnishing my blog post url. Is there an extension that I need to add, besides, http://www.abc.com?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  http://abc.go.com/ is not a blog. Are you referring to the site http://menkenlaw.com/, or another site?

  Word says it cannot register my blog post, and I think it’s because I am not furnishing my blog post url.

  Each post on a blog will have it’s own URL. For example, the URL of the post “I’d Like To Know Who Sent This Spam, But I Don’t Dare” is http://menkenlaw.com/2015/07/08/id-like-to-know-who-sent-this-spam-but-i-dont-dare/. The URL of the website is simply http://menkenlaw.com.

  Note: The link http://www.abc.com which you provided, redirects to http://abc.go.com/, which is an ABC TV Network site.

  Thanks for helping. I am trying to see if I can use Word to post a blog. Word requires me to register my account, which is a WordPress account. I’m told to “Enter Blog Post URL.” And then enter account information. I’m not sure what to put for “Blog Post URL.” That’s my problem, I think, i.e., why I’m getting notice that registration is not successful. Maybe I’m having another problem but I still don’t know my Blog Post URL. By the way, “ABC” was just an example, like 123. I didn’t want to type “XXX”!

  Hi. You’re welcome. As I mentioned above, every blog post has a separate URL. It’s the web address of the post.

  Word may have a different definition of “blog post URL” with which I’m unfamiliar. However, according to my understanding, http://menkenlaw.com/ is the website or blog URL. The URL http://menkenlaw.com/2015/06/29/it-would-be-a-good-idea-to-secure-your-wireless-router/ is a blog post URL. A blog post URL contains the site URL with an extension containing the publish date and the permalink slug.
