Thanks Andrew but I have a web developer working on a site and I need it to be located at this address which i purchsed from wordpress – http://www.theperfomanceandfitnessacademy.com
He says he needs my ftp host name and is using filezila for ftp software.
This is all Greek to me so need some help here

http://www.theperfomanceandfitnessacademy.com/ isn’t hosted here. You’ll need to contact your hosting provider about FTP access for that.

But i bought it as part of the package from wordpress when i signed up to start a blog so who do i contact if it was not wordpress?

I have a website developer developing a site for me and its what he has asked for as i want to keep the domain name http://www.theperformanceandfitnessacademy.com
I asked him to build a site and want it located at the above.
Does this make sense?

If you want him to build a site that’s not based on WordPress.com, you’ll need to get a hosting provider and direct your domain to it using the Domain Administration tool under Store -> Domains, at the bottom of the page.
We have some recommended hosting providers at http://get.wp.com/hosting/

Hi guys back again and did all of the above but now my web developer has an issue with domain propagation (not sure what this means). Could you have a look at the mail he sent and make a suggestion. Cheers again and you guys have been super helpful. Mail is below (i sent this to bluehost to see if its an issue at their end)-
“we are checking your existing domain and the blue host etc details regularly, and expecting site will be ok soon. But I think there is serious issue with the wordpress installed in the bluehost server.
We are seeing the site , new , at http://theperformanceandfitnessacademy.com , and its ok, we also have the correct FTP user and password and we have uploaded the theme also ( which we developed for you ) …
But whenever we are trying to enter in wordpress admin .. typing … http://theperformanceandfitnessacademy.com/wp-adminthen it is taking / redirecting us to this link below :-
and if we login here with the user ((email visible only to moderators and staff) ) given by you , and password … then it is opening a different admin to us and we are not finding our theme here in the whole 162 themes.
So we think that there is some problem in domain propagation or some problem in wordpress install in your main new server at bluehost. Please contact them and solve this asap, to complete your site soon. We are aware that you wanted the site fast and we also want to complete it fast ( which already completed )

It looks like your domain is still pointing to the WordPress.com domain name servers. If you want to use your domain name with a different hosting provider, please follow this guide:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/domain-management/#update-nameserversYou can get the correct domain name server values from BlueHost.
