What is my FTP username and password?

  i am trying to install a new plug-in to my wordpress blog.
  then it goes to this page asking for my hostname, FTP username and FTP password.

  im sure iv got my hostname right but i cant workout my FTP username and password.

  iv tryed my wordpress username and password, and iv tryed my blog username and password, neither seem to work

  please help

  I’m sorry, WordPress.com doesn’t support FTP access. If you require FTP access and plugins to your site, you may want to look into using a self-hosted installation of WordPress.org.
