What is my WordPress IP Address

  Hi all.

  I recently created my blog site at mtvenvironmental.wordpress.com
  I then purcashed a domain and secured 3rd party webhosting at Net Registry.

  I followed the WordPress Instructions, purcashed the relevant upgrade and changed the site over so it pointed to http://www.mtvenvironmental.com.au

  I added the 3 x wordpress name servers via my web hosting DNS.

  So I then went on to set up an email account through my web hosting company. They said that it would not work becasue my site was pointing to the WordPress name servers. They instructed me to point the site to their Net Registry name severs, but to also create an A Record that pointed to my WordPress Site.

  This is why I am here. How do I find out what my WordPress IP address is. Net Registry confirm that I need this. I have searched your forum and your Support centre and can’t quite work out how to find this IP address.

  Thanks heaps for your help. 10 calls to Net Registry and Bigpond (MY ISP) today and 6 hours later, I’m getting a bit confused and frustrated.

  Try reading this

  At the end of the day though, I had to chat to my web hosting company and after a few hours chatting to them in total, I got it sorted. Good luck!!

  Also note the below comment from another forum

  Michael – I am with Net Registry. Although I don’t use Word Press, I know that it is in Control Panel ready to be installed as part of the Net Registry service. It’s hosted on Net Registry. Check with them as you might be duplicating hosting costs at present?

  Hi Michael,

  I´ve finally soted it out. I had to ask my web hosting company for the email MX and add them to the wordpress DNS.
  It works perfectly.
