What is Portfolio template in page attributes

  What is portfolio template in the page attributes
  Default and full width templates are self-explanatory, and I have figured out the Showcase Template, but am unable to determine what a Portfolio Template is.

  The word portfolio has many meanings depending on how it is used. In relation to web pages a portfolio design is typically defined by a popular and often used grid style layout of images of same size.
